PCCR TASK FORCE ‘ONDOY’ FUND DRIVE AND RELIEF OPERATIONS A SUCCESS!

None was spared during the onslaught of super-typhoon Ondoy last September 26, 2009. Even our beloved school PCCR-MLC was affected by the massive flooding experienced that fateful weekend. The first floor of the old building had been inundated by knee-high floodwaters resulting to damages.

However, the spirit of bayanihan is very strong in PCCR as the PCCR Task Force ‘Ondoy’ was organized to assist the employees, teaching and non-teaching staff, and students severely affected by the storm in the areas of Central Luzon, Metro Manila and Rizal. The task force was headed by Administrative Manager Eduard M. Solomon together with Guidance Counselor Dr. Ma. Lourdes V. Galindez and Office of the President Researcher Christine F. Derafera.

After two weeks since the launched last September 30, the PCCR Task Force ‘Ondoy’ culminated with the gift-giving headed by President Gregory Alan F. Bautista last Thursday, October 15, 2009 at the JFAB Sports Center. Employees and students were given gifts containing relief goods and clothes to help them in their recovery from the disasters.

The PCCR Task Force ‘Ondoy’ as well as the administration of PCCR-MLC wholeheartedly appreciates the support and generosity of all the employees, teaching and non-teaching staff and students for their generosity and contribution.
