PCCr Congratulates Criminology Board Passers Through Testimonial Dinner Print

The September 2009 Criminologists Board Exam Results has been released! The Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announces that 5,046 out of 14,142 passed the Criminologist Licensure Examination given by the Board of Criminology in the cities of Manila, Baguio, Cagayan de Oro, Cebu, Davao, Iloilo, Legazpi, Lucena, Tacloban, Tuguegarao and Zamboanga last September 2009.

The oath-taking ceremony of the successful examinees, as well as previous ones who took the CLE but have not taken their Oath of Professional, was held last November 16, 2009 at the Centennial Hall of the Manila Hotel in Manila.

For this batch of board exam, there are 290 PCCr graduates who passed. In recognition of this achievement, PCCr gave a Testimonial Dinner for the September 2009 Criminologists Board Passers at the Mandarine Palace Seafood Restaurant in Manila  after their oath taking.

 

Professor Noel I. Alma Jose, Department Head of the DLMSS opened the celebration by leading the invocation followed by the singing of the National Anthem lead by Dr. Janette B. Domingo. Ambassador Benjamin B. Domingo, Dean of Manila Law College and Dr. Harry C. Lorenzo, Dean of Graduate School respectively gave short messages. 

Before handing out the Certificate of Recognition to the newly licensed criminologists, President Gregory Alan F. Bautista gave an inspirational talk. In his speech, Pres. Alan congratulates not only the board passers but their parents as well.  He stressed that the testimonial dinner is just an icing on the cake, the real reward is to have done the exams.  He also challenged the board passers not to rest on their achievement but to continue striving for loftier goals. He cited Manny Pacquio to be the model in achieving one’s goal in life, with the vision for PCCr board passers to be the “pound for pound the best criminologists in the world” to which the audience gave a resounding YES.

  

The Master of Ceremony, Dr. Ariel C. Manlusoc, Dean of the College of Criminology and Review Director, closed the celebration by congratulating each and every board passers for a job well done.
