One Heart, One Love, One Christmas The PCCr-MLC Faculty-Employee Christmas Party 2009
Last Tuesday, December 22, 2009, the halls of the JFAB Sports Complex were decked with colorful and unique lanterns and were filled with excited faculty and employees as PCCr-MLC celebrated the joys of gift-giving last Christmas holiday.
All the different departments participated in the Parol making contest and the Christmas presentation contest. Seventeen departments participated in the Parol-Making Contest, each producing creative lanterns recycled from used materials. The Administration Office won the 1st Prize with their dried corn husks lantern, followed by the Guidance Office, IT Unit, Accreditation Unit and Maintenance respectively (second to fifth place).
Mr. Rob Rubina of the Faculty and Research Unit hosted the program. The pride of the school, the PCCr-MLC Chorale opened the program with the doxology and national anthem. Every department of PCCr-MLC was acknowledged. Dr. Ariel C. Manlusoc, Dean of the College of Criminology welcomed everyone and formally opened the event. Prof. Gregory Alan F. Bautista, President and Chairman of the Board inspired the faculty and employees with his passionate Christmas message.   Immediately, the stiff competition for the annual Christmas presentation started with the High School Department Dance Group. The Accreditation and Faculty came next with their inspired “Paskong Pinoy”. Mr. Michael Pangilinan hosted the game segment followed by the presentations of MLC/Graduate School and Dean’s Office, Student Affairs, Guidance and Discipline Group, and the Registrar’s production numbers. The Treasury Group, Maintenance and the Administration Office/Office of the President were the last three groups that presented.  During the merienda cena, various prizes were raffled off. At this time, Pres. Alan led the gift-giving to all faculty and employee. Finally, the winners of the highly anticipated Christmas presentation were announced with the Administration Office/ Office of the President, Maintenance and the Accreditation and Faculty groups bagging the 1st, 2nd and 3rd prizes respectively. Prof. Mario S. Villalobos, High School Principal and Technical Assistant for Planning, Personnel and Management officially closed the program. All in all, the faculty and employees of PCCr-MLC truly celebrated One Heart, One Love, One Christmas this 2009!
